Congratulations to all the winners of the First ScotRail Press Photography Awards 2008

The winners were presented with their awards by Stewart Stevenson MSP, Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Climate Change.  The ceremony took place in Glasgow’s Mitchell Theatre on Thursday 26 March, in front of a selected audience of photographers and media.

A record number of almost 3200 images were received for this year’s awards. Forty two photographers and nine magazines / newspapers were shortlisted across 16 award categories following a rigorous judging process by a panel of industry experts, chaired by Ken Lennox.
